Former Seattle cop develops personal camera
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
SEATTLE -- A former Seattle police officer has founded a company that makes a wireless clip-on camera, about the size of a pager.
Steve Ward is the president of VieVu (VEE'-view). He says officers can wear the camera to record up to four hours of video. It can be used as evidence and to protect officers from false claims.
Ward says the battery-powered cameras are ideal for motorcycle and bicycle units, foot and horse patrols and SWAT teams
